The Background
Twenty years of growth, and a stack that kept changing
Capstone Landscape Management got its start twenty years ago in Greenville, South Carolina, running on manual systems: spreadsheets, paper, and clipboards. Over time the company moved to digital operations, cycling through a couple of other platforms before landing on LaunchPad OS.
Christian Frist, the company’s sales and marketing specialist, was drawn in the moment he was first introduced to the LaunchPad team — at the Equip Exposition in Louisville, Kentucky, in October 2025, where the platform’s capabilities quickly won him over.
Why LaunchPad OS?
Property mapping that moved faster than the old way
The initial draw was speed and simplicity in property mapping. Seeing measurements come together on screen, noticeably quicker than the setup Capstone was using, made the difference in that first conversation.
“The feature we got to hear about that sold us first was the mapping capability. The way they were showing us was a lot quicker than our current setup.”
Just as compelling was how much more the team could track: mowing details, timestamps, and property specifics that sharpen revenue and cost tracking, and put real numbers behind job pricing.

From an hour per quote to a few minutes
The clearest before-and-after improvement is estimating. The data Capstone now collects from its crews is data the company had never been able to gather at this level, and it shows up directly in how fast quotes go out.
“I used to quote in all different kinds of software, and it would take me roughly forty-five minutes to an hour for one quote. Within LaunchPad, I’m creating quotes in five to ten minutes.”
Much of that speed comes from Luna AI, the built-in agentic assistant in LaunchPad OS. Rather than requiring manual training, Luna learns a business’s numbers and structure over time — something Christian calls “one of the most unexpected things to find in a landscaping app,” which quickly became one of his favorite parts of the system.

His recommendation, after trying multiple operating systems before this one, is direct: the efficiency, he says, is worth every penny.
